Communion in the New Temple

Sonday morning, the 9th of December, in the year of our Lord 2012, Bo Stuart once again brought a short message on the importance and significance of communion in this New Covenant age.

Baptism; Our Christian Identity
As the Kingdom of God grows, and babies are born, they have traditionally been baptized in water, like Israel of old, to mark their new identity and to symbolically show their cleansing, along with the remission of sins.
This past Sonday, the 10th of June, in the year of our Lord 2012, we witnessed such a baptismal ceremony, welcoming a quartet of infants into the Congregation of God's people!

Potato Dig 2013

This past Saturday, the 12th of October, in the year of our Lord 2013, Tim & Amy Martin held yet another Potato Dig at their home in Waterloo, Montana.

Beginning in the mid-morning hours of this chilly Fall day, the potatoes soon started making their way into neat piles on the floor of Tim & Amy's garage.

Throughout the morning and afternoon ( which got steadily warmer ), as the soil was loosened, the potatoes were retrieved from their dirty womb and brought out into the open, where they might become food for some fortunate palate!

After the potatoes were all dug and the last vestige of 'our 'Dig' cleared away, the diggers and gatherers enjoyed a feast of baked potatoes ( purple, red, white, and yellow ) topped with a hearty and delicious chili. On top of that, there was plenty of dessert laid out for us, and lots of good fellowship, both during and after our meal!

Is this Futurism's Last Hoorah?

Sign_Mocking.jpgSo, once again the end of the world is near! With the "so-called" rapture to take place on May 20th as per the fraudulent claims of Harold Camping, we at Covenant Community planned a "Mock A False Prophet" party for Sunday, May 22nd.

Listen to Sermon

As expected, there are a few who are calling on us to not be so mean to an old delusional futurist, I mean a Christian brother. We think the loving response to fools is to attempt to "shut their mouths" in the hope of saving others from their folly. OoooKaaaay... lets all have a big group hug and promise to just get along. In that spirit...

Here is our "Apology"

In the State Capitol at Helena Montana on October 13th, 2007

Covenant Community Church preached a Historic Election Sermon before the honorable Civil Rulers of Montana and guests.

Followed by the "Myths, Lies & Half-truths Conference"

presented by American Vision

Both events were well attended by community leaders and Christian activists from around the Northwest.

How many times have you been left speechless when you heard the following objections to Christians getting involved in the issues of the day?  “Jesus didn’t get involved in politics.” “There’s a separation between church and state.” “We’re living in the last days.” “Religion and politics don’t mix.” These and many other objections were evaluated and answered in the Myth, Lies, and Half-Truths Conference. Understanding what God’s Word says these often-recited but rarely examined challenges to Christian activism will determine the future of Christianity in America and around the world.

Gary DeMar is president of American Vision, a Christian educational and communications organization whose purpose is to equip and empower Christians to restore America’s Biblical foundation. Gary has written more than twenty books covering a full range of topics, including: The three-volume God and Government series; America’s Christian Heritage; Myths, Lies, and Half-Truths: How Misreading the Bible  Neutralizes Christians; Thinking Straight in a Crooked World and To Pledge Allegiance American history textbook series. Gary has been interviewed by Time, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, the BBC, and Sean  Hannity. He has done numerous radio and television interviews, including the “Bible Answer Man,” hosted by Hank Hanegraaff  and “Today’s Issues” with Tim Wildmon and Marvin Sanders.

Tim Ewing and his wife of 19 years, Janette, and their four children, reside in Rome, GA. Tim and Janette have home educated their children for nine years. Tim is president of Tolle Lege Press, founded to bring great Christian literature from the past back into print for Christians to be edified and equipped for years to come. Current projects include publishing the Bible that Built America, the 1599 Geneva Bible, brought to the shores of our country by the Mayflower Pilgrims ( Tim writes regularly for American Vision’s Biblical Worldview Magazine and speaks frequently about America’s Christian heritage and important cultural and political issues of our day.

An Historic Election Sermon

preached by Timothy Ewing in The Senate Hearing Room of the Capitol at Helena, Montana

Sponsored by: Covenant Community Church

Hosted by: Rep. Scott Mendenhall (R) Clancy

and Rep. Diane Rice (R) Harrison

(Mr. Ewing is a direct descendant of the Rev. Gad Hitchcock and publisher of  "Rare Jewel Magazine" )

When was the last time you heard an Election Sermon. No - NOT a sermon preached in a church building to a congregation about being a good citizen. An election sermon is preached before the civil magistrate or in the case here in America before our public servants. It is preached IN the public's building where the business of governance takes place. It is a minister or representative  of God Himself appearing in the civil "temple" to proclaim the truth about the nature of God, the nature of man, the purpose and nature  of civil government and to instruct citizen and governor alike concerning  what is required for their faithful obedience to God in the execution of their office which is a sacred trust.

We sent each statewide officeholder and candidate a personal invitation to this event.  Approximately eighty citizens attended this NOT a partisan political sermon. We brought before  the ministers of the civil realm and their fellow citizens the very Word of God as it applies to their offices so that they may be rightly informed of the duties they each owe to Almighty God and their fellow citizens who are ALL subjects of his government.

All government is religious - - the only question is: Which religion will it be?
